Go Columbia: On the horizon, June 2

NATIONAL TRAILS DAY HIKE: 9 a.m. Saturday at Sesquicentennial State Park, 9564 Two Notch Road. Guided 2-mile walk on the newly resurfaced Sandhills Trail. Participants should meet at the park office and are encouraged to dress appropriately for being outdoors and bring insect repellent, sunscreen and water. Free with park admission, which is $2; age 15 and younger, free; $1.25 for S.C. residents 65 or older or disabled and to members of the S.C. National Guard. Registration deadline is Thursday.
