Famously hot exhibit at EdVenture
“DINOSAURS: LAND OF FIRE AND ICE”: Saturday through Sept. 14 at EdVenture Children’s Museum, 211 Gervais St. Exhibit utilizes new research to create distinct dinosaur environments. A frozen trip across the “Land of Ice” introduces visitors to a Troodon and Edmontosaurus, who made their home in cold climates. Activities include climbing rocky steps, breezing down an icy slide and hopping across stepping stones over an icy river. Museum hours are 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Mondays-Saturdays and noon-5 p.m. Sundays.
