Film producer/director Bud Ferillo will present a screening of his documentary “When the Bough Breaks,” an examination of the state of literacy in South Carolina; a Q&A session will follow. Ferillo also produced and directed the 2006 documentary “Corridor of Shame: The Neglect of South Carolina’s Rural Schools,” which addressed the struggle to seek funding for an adequate education in rural S.C.
