Sip a little bourbon with other Bourbon fans and help The Animal Mission.

Representatives from Smooth Ambler Spirits will preside over a cocktail party Tuesday at the First Citizens Cafe’s courtyard, 1201 Main St., pouring samples and making cocktails from their line of bourbons, barrel-aged gin and ryes. Chef Gordon Langston of Bourbon Columbia is making some of the restaurant’s Cajun-Creole dishes.

A portion of the proceeds benefit The Animal Mission of the Midlands, which offers free spaying and neutering services in the region.

The party begins at 6 p.m. Tickets are $29 through EventBrite.
