Not-so-heavy metal

STEAM PUNK JEWELRY WORKSHOP: 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Sept. 20 at the Columbia Parks and Recreation Art Center, 1928 Calhoun St. Participants will work with metal findings and gears to make wearable art. Just for the fun of it

CAYCE CENTENNIAL FAMILY FUN DAY: Noon-5 p.m. Saturday at Granby Gardens Park, (City Hall Complex). Bounce houses, dunking booth, water slides, face painting, snow cones, a visit from Cinderella and have your picture taken with a Cayce fire truck.
