Go Columbia: On the horizon, Sept. 1

HIKE WITH A RANGER: 9 a.m. Saturday at Sesquicentennial State Park, 9564 Two Notch Road. Guided 2-mile fitness hike for all ages; stroller-friendly. Meet at the park office and dress appropriately for being outdoors; insect repellent is recommended. Adults must accompany children 15 and younger. Free with park admission, $2, age 15 and older; discounts for S.C. residents 65 or older or disabled and to members of the S.C. National Guard. Registration deadline is Wednesday.
