It’s going to be a spooky night fit for werewolves at the S.C. State Museum on Thursday, Oct. 30.
“Growl at the Moon” is an after-hours Halloween party for the 21-and-older crowd, and costumes are encouraged.
The event will feature live music, heavy hors d’oeuvres and craft beer in a souvenir growler. But the highlight of the dark night will be “Laser Floyd: Dark Side of the Moon,” a laser light show set to the eerie 1973 album by Pink Floyd. “Laser Floyd” will be shown at 8, 9 and 10 p.m.
Guests can also observe the moon in the observatory throughout the evening if the skies are clear.
Pre-sale tickets for “Growl at the Moon,” are sold out, but a limited quantity of tickets will be sold at the door beginning at 7 p.m.
Tickets are $35 person ($28 for museum members) and include food, three beer tickets, admission to the laser light shows and a beer growler to take home.
“Growl at the Moon” will be held from 7-11 p.m. on Thursday. The S.C. State Museum is located at 301 Gervais St. in The Vista.
