‘The Women of Lockerbie’
Inspired by a true story, playwright Deborah Brevoort tells the story of a mother from New Jersey to travels to Scotland in search of her son’s remains after the 1988 bombing of Pan Am Flight 103. 8 p.m. Thursday at USC’s Lab Theatre, 1400 Wheat St. (between Sumter and Pickens streets). Lights Before Christmas
The annual lights show at Riverbanks Zoo opens Friday. Explore the zoo in the evening with dozens of displays illuminated by millions of twinkling lights and enjoy seasonal music and treats. Stop by and chat with Santa, too. Hours 5-9 p.m. nightly through Dec. 30; closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
