TURKEY DAY 5K: 8:45 a.m. Thursday at the Colonial Life Arena, 801 Lincoln St. Preregistration is recommended, but on-site registration will begin at 8 a.m. Registrants may walk or run in the 5K and will receive an event T-shirt. Register at http://strictlyrunning.com. Registration for the 5K is $25 online, $35 on race day; registration for the 1-mile Family Fun Run is $10 online, $20 on race day. Both races are USA Track & Field Certified course and will be timed by Strictly Running. All proceeds stay locally at the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Midlands.
