SHEPHERD’S CENTER: Winter classes begin at 9 a.m. Wednesday in the Leisure Ministries building at Trenholm Road UMC, 3401 Trenholm Road. New classes include Redefining Yourself After Retirement, Financial Planning for Retirement, What You Don’t Know About Medicare, Tai Chi, Mandala Drawing, Minor Prophets, All About Words, Operatic Gazetteer, Revolutionary War in South Carolina and Beginning and End of the Civil War. Continuing classes include creative writing, acrylic and watercolor painting, classic movies, bridge, dulcimers, ukulele, handbells, yoga, travel and French.
