Fri Jun 29, 2007-Spartanburg, SC-Maggie Hill of Gilbert, has spent the last year as Miss South Carolina Teen. Along with the title, she won a savings bond she will use for college at Belmont University in Nashville where she will pursue her passion to become a country and western singer. Hill's last duty as Miss South Carolina Teen was to perform in the Miss South Carolina Pageant and to crown her successor.
July 3, 2003 - Cortni Bracken of Easley will compete in her sixth and final Miss South Carolina pageant that will be televised July 12th. She was the first runner-up in 2001 and finished in the top 10 last year. For 4 out of 5 years competed, she has won the Miss America Community Service Scholarship for her work with the prevention of child abuse. She estimates she has won $27,000 in scholarship money through the various pageants leading up to Miss South Carolina. She currently holds the title of Miss Golden Corner for the Oconee County area. She's shown holding her past six crowns.
