Donald Trump, the brash real estate mogul and reality TV star, has become the fourth 2016 presidential prospect planning to address this month's S.C. Tea Party Convention.
Trump will join Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum and Ben Carson in speaking at the Myrtle Beach gathering from Jan. 16-19.
All four have been mentioned as eyeing the Republican nomination for the White House in 2016, though none has made a formal announcement.
Word of Trump's speaking at the convention was reported first by Breitbart News. He will speak Jan 19.
Trump hinted at some South Carolina news on his Twitter feed Tuesday, leading to speculation he might have a real estate deal to announce.
