St. Peter’s to dedicate new center
St. Peter’s Catholic Church will dedicate its new $3 million parish life center tonight, followed by a celebration that will include music, food and a silent auction.
The 6:30 p.m. dedication will take place outside of the new Cardinal Bernardin Center, 1529 Assembly St.
The center, which features a glass wall connecting the main gathering space to the church, was designed by The Boudreaux Group and built by Tyler Construction.
The congregation named the center for a native son, the late Joseph Cardinal Bernardin, the former archbishop of Chicago.
