Baseball adds 2010 commitment

Ray Tanner and the Gamecocks picked up a commitment from an Eastide High School shortstop/pitcher.

Drake Thomason (6-0 170) of Eastside Tuesday to USC for the 2010 signing class.

Thomason also is the quarterback for the Eagles' football team and passed for 2,500 yards last season.
