SWIMMING
USC men, women lose tri-meet
South Carolina's men's and women's swimming teams lost a tri-meet to North Carolina and Virginia Tech. The men's team lost 194-106 to North Carolina and 202-98 to Virginia Tech, while the women's team lost 194-103 to North Carolina and 205.5-94.5 to Virginia Tech. Courtney Forcucci won the 1- and 3-meter women's diving for USC.

USC second in N.J.
At Princeton,N.J., USC finished second to Columbia at the Princeton Invitational. Sophomore Beatrice Biwott finished third to lead the Gamecocks, while Dani Barnes was 11th and Ashley Evens was 16th.
