Padgett Scratches Unoffical Visits

Last week's planned road trip to four major programs, including USC, by 6-7 James Padgett of Brooklyn did not materialize. Padgett said he had to take care of some things to get ready for the start of his classes and decided not to make the trips to Pittsburgh, Maryland, West Virginia and USC. He has, however, scheduled official visits to Pittsburgh for this weekend and Maryland for September 27th.

Padgett, who spoke with USC recruiter Michael Boynton Saturday, said he also plans to set a visit with the Gamecocks. He's also looking at Houston. He does not have a favorite.
