Lefty joins 2010 baseball class

Left-handed pitcher Wes Cook (6-2) of Central Alabama Junior College has committed to USC for the 2010 signing class.

Cook is a native of Montgomery, Ala., and will be a sophomore next season.

As a freshman, Cook was 10-0 with 2.29 ERA. In 94 innings, he allowed 80 hits, struck out 81 and walked 26.
