Soccer: Women face Ga. in SEC quarterfinals

CommentsThe South Carolina women's soccer team (15-3-1, 7-3-1 SEC) has earned the fourth seed in the Southeastern Conference Tournament and will face fifth-seeded Georgia (14-4-1, 7-4) on Wednesday at 8:30 p.m. in a quarterfinal match at the Orange Beach Soccer Complex in Orange Beach, Ala.
The winner will face the Florida-Tennessee winner at 7:30 p.m. Friday. The championship game is scheduled for Sunday at 2:30 p.m.
Georgia defeated South Carolina 2-1 on Oct. 16 to give the Gamecocks their first loss of the season.
