CommentsThe USC executive committee of the board of trustees is expected to approve a contract extension for baseball coach Ray Tanner on Friday.
Tanner is signed through 2012, after signing a new seven-year deal in 2005. It guaranteed him $345,000 per year, with incentives that could take it up to $490,000.
Tanner received a $240,000 tax-deferred annuity last year, which he would receive if he stayed through the end of his contract in 2012. The new contract was expected to address that too.
