Sound off from USC-Florida

Five reasons Florida’s Ben Hill Griffin Stadium is the best venue in the country for college football:

1.

Fans arrive early and begin unified cheers long before kickoff.

2.

Very little sideline space places fans close to the playing field.

3.

“Two bits,” the pregame cheer led by 86-year-old George Edmondson, who has been leading the crowd since 1949 and will retire after next week’s Florida game against The Citadel.

4.

“We are the Boys of Old Florida,” a traditional song at the end of the third quarter as the home crowd sways.

5.

Loud. LoudER. LOUDEST.
