Former USC cornerback Stoney Woodson has agreed to a four-year deal with the New York Giants worth about $1.8 million, according to multiple New York and New Jersey media outlets.

Woodson, a seventh round draft pick by the Giants, wasn't a full-time starter at cornerback for the Gamecocks but had a good showing at USC's pro day in March.

The 5-10, 198-pound Woodson's deal could grow to $4 million with escalators and incentives, and includes a signing bonus likely in the range of $46,000, according to reports in the New Jersey Star-Ledger and New York Daily News.

The team cut cornerback Rashad Barksdale to make room for Woodson.

Woodson is the second of USC's seven draft picks to sign with his team.

Former Gamecock kicker Ryan Succop reached a deal earlier in the week with the Kansas City Chiefs worth a total of about $1.2 million, according to Joel Turner, Succop's Myrtle Beach-based agent.
