Former Gamecocks Jamon Meredith and Emanuel Cook -- waived by NFL teams Saturday -- have been re-signed to their respective teams' practice squads.
Meredith, a fifth-round selection in this year's NFL Draft, was signed to the Green Bay Packers' eight-man practice squad.
Cook, an undrafted free agent, was one of eight players signed by the New York Jets to their practice squad.
Former Gamecocks cut this weekend or last week were:
-- The Carolina Panthers waived former USC lineman Casper Brinkley.
-- The New York Giants cut their final three selections in the draft, including former USC cornerback Stoney Woodson.
-- The San Francisco 49ers waived undrafted USC cornerback Carlos Thomas.
