THREE THINGS TO WATCH
1. The Gamecocks turned it over a season-high 32 times in a loss at Wake Forest on Wednesday. USC held a 1-point advantage at the half before getting careless with the ball and being outscored by 18 in the second half. They must to take care of the ball better to improve on an offense averaging 52 points a game.
2. Brionna Dickerson and Demetress Adams each scored 15 against the Demon Deacons to lead the way. The two seniors will need to continue to lead the way until the offense clicks on all cylinders.
3. This is part of a doubleheader with the USC men playing at 6. It also begins a six-game homestand that includes visits from Connecticut and Stanford, two of last year's Final Four participants. This is a key stretch before the beginning of SEC play.
KEY PLAYER
Lauren Falohun, USC, PG
The Gamecocks’ starting point guard leads the team in turnovers with 23. Falohun doesn't look to score often and is a pass-first point guard, so protecting the ball should be a premium. She also needs to get the ball to the scorers when they are open.
