Injured South Carolina senior guard Brionna Dickerson will begin rehabilitating her right knee in an attempt to rejoin the Gamecocks before the end of the season, USC spokesperson Diana Koval said Monday.
Dickerson, whose 13.4 points-per-game average leads the team, was injured against Vanderbilt on Jan. 25. The Gamecocks have five games remaining before the SEC tournament begins March 5 in Little Rock, Ark.
Dickerson, a Columbia resident, was injured three days after senior forward Demetress Adams sustained a season-ending knee injury at Mississippi.Adams was averaging 10.7 points and a team-high 7.2 rebounds.
