CommentsKEY MOMENT: USC held its final lead at 40-39 at the 15:18 mark, but Kentucky went on a 19-4 run over the next eight minutes. The margin never dropped below double-digits the rest of the way.
STAR OF THE GAME: Amani Franklin scored 21 of her 28 points in the second half. She made her first six shots of the second half and added seven rebounds and three assists. She was 4-for-4 from the 3-point line.
POINT OF EMPHASIS: Kentucky only had eight healthy bodies, but instead of having eight underclassmen like USC, five of those players were juniors or seniors. The Gamecocks will be more experienced next year but will be without a senior on the roster.
