Health fair coming up in Batesburg-Leesville

The Wal-Mart Supercenter in Batesburg-Leesville will team up with law enforcement officials to host the town’s Community Public Safety and Health Fair later this month.

The event — from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 24 at the Wal-Mart at 115 E. Church St. — includes a child-safety seat inspection program, a child identification program, law enforcement displays and other community-based health-related information.

The Batesburg-Leesville Police Department and the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department are also hosting.
