Small-business salute set for April 1

Workshops, awards and a reception for small businesses will be the focus of Columbia’s fifth annual Salute to Small Business.

The event will be from 1 to 7 p.m. April 1 at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center. Workshops include government contracting, lending and the Workforce Investment Act.
