Junior WR Sean Tapley (6-0 175) of Jacksonville committed to USC a month ago for the 2010 class. Tapley attended a summer camp session with the Gamecocks and that's when he first got the idea of joining Steve Spurrier's program. "I liked the coach, and when I went to their camp, it had a good atmosphere," Tapley said. "And they like to throw the ball a lot. I'm not locked in but they are my highest priority."
Tapley said USC is his only offer so far but he's also drawing interest from Miami, LSU, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Louisville, Duke, Southern Miss and Western Kentucky. Florida, Ole Miss, LSU and Miami are others he considers to be high on his list.
This season Tapley has caught 27 passes for 550 yards. He's the Gamecocks first public commitment for the 2010 class.
