ATH Travante Stallworth (5-9 185) of Leesville, LA will make an official visit to Michigan this weekend with his mother (his dad is in Iraq). January 17th he will visit USC and later in the month he will visit Auburn and Mississippi State. Stallworth has been committed to Auburn but he decided to look around some after the coaching change.
With all time leading receiver Kenny McKinley graduating, USC receivers coach Steve Spurrier Jr. has targeted Stallworth. Spurrier met with Stallworth earlier this week. "We talked about the program and how things would work out if I went there," Stallworth said. "He compares me to Kenny McKinley. Kenny was a quarterback in hign school and he had never seen him play receiver. I played quarterback in high school and he's never seen me play receiver. He thinks I can play early and be the next great player at South Carolina."
Coaches from Michigan and TCU visited Stallworth Monday and Mississippi State was in on Wednesday. Head coaches have not yet visited him.
This season Stallworth passed for 1339 yards and 14 touchdowns and rushed for 546 yards and 15 touchdowns.
