LB Ty Linton (6-2 210) of Charlotte made three school stops over the weekend starting with Clemson Saturday and ending with Duke Sunday night. In between he manged to stop by NC State.
Linton was at Clemson for a second straight weekend. This time the focus was football. The previous time it was baseball.
The Clemson visit went well," Linton said. "I talked to coach Swinney and coach Leggett about the two sport thing. I got some one on one time with coach Swinney. I talked to coach Pearman and he said they would be offering soon. I enjoyed it. It was a great time. NC State was alright. It was a basic junior day. I met with the baseball coach. They are offering only one more linebacker. Duke, I just came in and toured the facilities. I really enjoyed it. The basketball game was incredible. If I was going to lean towards anything it would be Clemson and Duke. Duke will let me play baseball, too."
Duke has offered Linton along with Wisconsin, West Virginia, Illinois and Miami of Ohio.
He's also interested in USC and will try to make an unofficial visit to Columbia during this week. This coming weekend he's considering a visit to Virginia.
