WR-DB Jeremy White (5-10 171) of Blythewood has yet to receive his first offer but says he is getting heavy interest from Georgia Tech and USC. He is also hearing from Syracuse, NC State, and SC State.
White says he likes Georgia Tech because of the way the community is involved. "The school does a good job of getting the community involved with the team," he said. "They also do a great job helping in the local community. It's a great place."
White says he had a difficult time adjusting to the new offense last year as the team went from a spread to the power I formation. "You don't touch the ball too much in the slot," he said. White switched to defensive back for a game to see if he could contribute more to the team and had nine tackles, a forced fumble and a pass deflection. He thinks he may play both ways this year. "Whatever I can do to help my team, I'll do," said White.
He plans to go to junior day in Atlanta on April 11.
