OL Kolton Houston (6-5 265) of Buford, GA dropped in on USC last week for a Gamecock practice. Houston has been to USC several times before, and he had a specific purpose in mind for attending the practice. "I wanted to see how the coach (OL coach Eric Wolford) practiced," Houston said. "He reminds me a lot of my coach. I know all I need to know about South Carolina."
USC has offered Houston for both sides of the line, and he wants to play on the offensive side. He also has offers from Clemson, Vanderbilt, Maryland, Stanford, Georgia Tech, Auburn, Tennessee, Wake Forest, Michigan State, East Carolina and Tulane.
"I'm planning on making my commitment between the middle of June and the Fourth of July," said Houston adding that he has no favorites right now. "South Carolina is still in the loop."
Houston will visit Georgia Monday and Vanderbilt Wednesday. He also plans to visit Tennessee.
