QB Tyler Brosius (6-3 234) of Waynesville, NC has been offered by Central Florida, Western Carolina and UT Chattanooga, but he's hoping to show some bigger programs this spring what he can do. He's expecting several scouts to watch him during practice including USC quarterbacks coach GA Mangus with whom he talked to for about 15 minutes at junior day earlier this spring.
"He said I'm the right body type," Brosius said. "He's going to come in this spring and watch me throw."
Brosius said Central Florida has been showing him the most interest. He's also getting interest from Wake Forest, NC State, East Carolina, Wisconsin, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Tennessee and Georgia. Tennessee, Notre Dame, Marshall and Wisconsin have indicated to him they plan to watch him this spring. He has visited USC, Wake Forest, Tennessee, NC State and Central Florida.
Last season Brosius passed for 2335 yards and 25 touchdowns.
