DB Brashaud Breeland (6-2 200) of Allendale-Fairfax attended USC's spring practice Thursday night with his head coach and a few teammates. Breeland actually arrived in Columbia late in the afternoon and sat in on some pre-practice meetings. Then he went out to practice and focused on what the safeties and cornerbacks were doing.
"I like that they were doing their one on one stuff," he said. "I love that competition. I focused on the people I will have to compete against, the corners and the safeties. It will be some good comeptition. I talked to coach Beamer and coach Ward. They're telling me I've got a chance to come in and play. And they were telling me about the players they have."
Breeland also visited USC for junior day. He also went to Clemson's junior day. He plans to attend one of the spring games Saturday, he's just not sure which one.
He does not have a favorite but the in-state schools are strong with him. He also has offers from Wake Forest, NC State, Virginia Tech, Maryland, Michigan and Tennessee.
