There may be no busier prospect in the country this June than WR Tehvyn Brantley (5-10 175) of Durham, NC. Brantley plans to attend 23 camps from coast to coast in an effort to improve his stock and offer list. This month he's attending as many combines as he can get to.
Last week he was in Baltimore for the Under Armour combine. This week he's headed to a Nike camp in Houston. He'll be in Michigan next week for the Midwest Elite camp. And at the end of the month he's off to a Scout.com combine in Los Angeles.
His camp stops, in order, will be Arizona State, Tennessee, Oklahoma State, Texas Tech, Wake Forest, Rice, LSU, Clemson, Arizona, Georgia, Ohio State, USC, Florida, Central Michigan, North Carolina, Michigan, Buffalo, UCLA, Southern Cal and Washington.
Brantley has an offer from Central Michigan, and according to his father, UCLA appears close to offering. And USC has been in touch with contact from graduate assistant coach Patrick Shine. "The schools want to see him in camp," Mr. Brantley said.
Brantley can also play in the secondary. He is on track to graduate in December.
