USC and Clemson are among the schools going after 6-9 junior SF Brandon Mobley of Savannah. Both offered back in October and have remained heavily involved. "South Carolina has been recruiting me real hard," Mobley said. "They came to about three or four of my games. And they've been to my school to see me work out. Clemson also is on my strong and has been to my school."
Mobley saw both teams play at the same time last season. He made an unofficial visit to USC when the Gamecocks played the Tigers. He has not visited Clemson. Mobley also has offers from Indiana, Cincinnati, Georgia, Missouri, Kansas State, Marquette and Kentucky. Mobley said he will schedule his official visits this fall with USC, Indiana, Kentucky, Kansas State and Cincinnati. He plans to make a decision before his season.
Last season Mobley averaged 25 points, 14 rebounds and 8 blocks per game. He plays mostly center and power forward for his high school but has small forward skills, and the colleges like him for the three spot.
