DB Lo Wood (5-11 176) of Apopka, FL is hearing from both USC and Clemson but neither school has offered him as of yet. He does have offers from Ole Miss, Georgia Tech, Georgia, Kentucky, Michigan, Notre Dame, West Virginia, Louisville, Purdue, Stanford, Florida International, Florida Atlantic, and Central Florida. Wood has 20 offers in all.
He does plan on leaving the state of Florida to play football. “I like a lot of the Northern schools,” he said. “I’ll be leaving Florida when I choose a school.”
He went to Notre Dame for their spring game and came away impressed. “Everywhere you go on their campus, it’s all business,” he said. “Everyone is well-dressed. You go to the book store to buy paraphanalia and you’re under-dressed there. You can tell that they are serious.” Wood also visited Michigan last year and has been to Georgia Tech.
His favorites are Notre Dame, Michigan, Georgia Tech, Ole Miss, and Louisville. “I’d say those are my favorites right now but you never know,’” said Wood. “Until I commit, it’s really wide open.
