It appears it will be sooner rather than later that USC will gain a commitment from OL Trammell Williams (6-2 260) of Jacksonville. The Gamecocks have been his favorite since they offered, and that hasn't changed.
"I'm debating back and forth whether I want to commit (now)," Williams said. "South Carolina has the upper hand in my recruiting. I'm pretty sure I'm with South Carolina right now. There's a possibility I'll commit when I visit the end of June or in early July."
Williams said he last talked with his Gamecock recruiter Steve Spurrier Jr. last Tuesday. "We just chat all the time," Williams said. "We've got a pretty cool relationship."
Williams also has offers from Vanderbilt, Southern Miss and Indiana and he is hearing from Arkansas, Miami, Central Florida, Florida State, UCLA, Rutgers, Louisville and Southern Cal.
He plans to attend a Central Florida camp June 18th and he plans to visit UCLA and Southern Cal.
