USC is one of the frontrunners right now for slot receiver Ace Sanders (5-9 165) of Bradenton, FL.
"I told my mom that's going to be one of my official visits," Sanders said. "Steve Spurrier, that's a big part of it right now. He's a national championship coach, a legend. It would be an honor to play for him. And, they like to throw the ball, too."
West Virginia, Purdue and South Florida are the other team's on Sanders's favorites list. There is no leader. He also has offers from Indiana, Syracuse and Iowa and is getting interest from Florida, Texas Tech, Georgia and Florida State.
He has camped at South Florida and Florida and will camp at Georgia next weekend. Sanders said he'd like to make a decision by the end of August or in early September.
Last season he had 31 catches for 600 yards and 6 touchdowns.
