On a recent swing through the South, ATH Lucky Radley (5-11 195) of Woodland Hills, CA made USC and Clemson two of his stops. USC, which has offered Radley, is recruiting him as a safety or cornerback. Clemson, which has not offered, likes Radley as a running back.
Radley said he talked with USC head coach Steve Spurrier last week. "They seem highly interested," he said. "The coaches wanted me a lot. They wouldn't have offered if they didn't want me. I like the school a lot. I felt real comfortable with the coaches."
Radley also visited North Carolina, Wake Forest, San Diego State, Southern Cal and UCLA over the summer. He has offers from USC, Colorado State, Iowa State, North Carolina, San Diego State, Western Michigan, Utah and Arizona. He has not decided on official visits but said USC stands a good chance to get one. He won't consider Clemson for a visit unless he's offered. He does not have favorites. Radley will graduate in December and wants to make a decision soon, though not before he takes his visit.
Last season Radley rushed for 1125 yards and scored 30 touchdowns. He also had 127 tackles with 9 sacks and 4 interceptions.
