WR Marquel Wade (5-10 180) of Jacksonville, FL says his top four continues to be USC, Arkansas, Georgia, and South Florida in no paricular order. "Nothing has changed," he said. "Those are still my favorites."
Wade plans to take an official to USC and that will be his first time on campus. He likes the relationship he has with the coaches. "They don't always talk football," said Wade. "They're always reminding me to be careful and to watch my grades. They've also talked to me about how I would fit in."
Wade says he likes Georgia because their coaches remind him of home. "They act just like the players and are real laid back," he said. "That's how my coaches are now."
Wade will also take officials to Georgia and Arkansas but says he won't take one to South Florida. "I've already been there. I'll decide on the other two visits later."
Never miss a local story.
He is also intrigued about the prospect of playing the SEC. "All the teams are tough. You go up against the best every week."
Though he does have a top four, Wade is not excluding any of his 20 plus offers. "They've all got a chance. I know I said I have some favoritesbut they're all equal." Wade also said he is in no hurry to commit.
