WR Marquel Wade (5-10 180) of Jacksonville, FL already had a top four of USC, South Florida, Georgia, and Arkansas and now says that Ole Miss is"creeping" into his top five. "They've done a good job of keeping in touch with me," said Wade. "They're letting me know how I would fit in and tell me I've got a good chance of playing early there."
Wade will take official visits to USC, Georgia, and Arkansas and now says that Ole Miss may get one too. "I'll probably go there as well," he said.
Wade likes USC for their offense. "They run a spread offense," he said. "That's the type of offense I want to play in."
He says South Florida probably won't get an official even though they are in his top four. "I can go there anytime I want so I probably won't take an official there."
Wade has over 20 offers including offers from Miami, Florida, Louisville, Indiana, Purdue, Rutgers, and Illinois. All five schools on his list have also offered.
He is a former teammate of Corey Addison and friends with Eric Baker and says they have told him what to expect if he were to attend USC. "They say it's a lot of hard work but it's worth it. They told me they make them feel at home," said Wade. He has not named a leader.
