Stacey Poole (6-5 190) of Jacksonville, FL is still yet to make a decision, although he says fans should expect it very soon. Poole took a visit to Kentucky this past weekend, visiting with Coach John Calipari and the other coaches and players in Lexington.
According to Poole, “I got along with [his hosts] Darius Miller and John Wall and it was cool to spend time with the players and the other coaches besides my recruiter.” Poole also took a visit to the UK-Louisville football game and said “I loved the fans at the football game, they were amazing and Kentucky was cool.”
Despite the praise, however, Poole said he was “not wowed by Kentucky,” and is still yet to decide. Poole plans to make a decision this week, but claims he “is still wide open.” Poole boasts offers from Indiana, USC, Clemson, Florida, Xavier, Miami, Kentucky, and Oklahoma, although he is only considering, UK, USC and Clemson and will not make officials to USC or Clemson.
Poole is still in contact with the USC coaching staff, saying they call his parents and coach regularly, and he also said he wants to call the Gamecocks back very soon. Poole also said he is neither more nor less interested in USC based on their recent commitments from two high-profile recruits in Brian Richardson and Damontre Harris, saying “I’m ready to compete with anyone.”
Clemson has not been in touch since his in-home visit on September 10th.
