USC has become involved with OL Morgan Moses (6-7 320) of Fork Union Prep, VA, and he has set an official visit with the Gamecocks for December 4th. Moses is a native of Richmond, VA and he signed with Virginia last February. But with Al Groh's situation in Charlottesville up in the air, Moses has decided to check other options.
"He sees the writing on the wall," said Fork Union coach John Shuman. "His buddy is (USC commitment) Chris Payne. He wants to go to the SEC. We've got five guys at South Carolina, so we're going to try to keep that up."
Shuman said USC recruiters Brad Lawing and Eric Wolford will be up to visit Moses a few days before his official visit. Shuman said Tennessee likely will be a player for Moses along with Auburn and Georgia.
"He's an elite player," Shuman said. "He moves very well and can play multiple positions."
Shuman said Moses has a chance to finish at Fork Union in December. He added the Payne remains firm with USC and will take his official visit there the same weekend as Moses.
