DB Victor Hampton (5-10 175) of Darlington made an official visit to USC November 13th. This Saturday he'll be back in Columbia on an unofficial visit for the Clemson game. The Gamecocks continue to show strong interest.
Hampton talked with recruiter Ellis Johnson earlier this week. "He said if I come in and work hard I can be a playmaker for them," Hampton said. "He said he's seen film of me on punt returns and thinks I can be pretty decent with the ball in my hands."
Hampton said Tennessee and Auburn continue to show interest. He's been in touch with Vols recruiter David Reaves, and Auburn has been in touch with his coach and wants him to come in for a visit. He hast not set any other visits.
Hampton said there is no favorite at this point and he's still planning an announcement at the US Army All American Game.
