USC has moved ahead of the hungry pack for OL Morgan Moses (6-7 320) of Fork Union Prep, VA according to his coach. "I think he's leaning USC's way, but he's got a lot of soul searching to do," John Shuman said Tuesday night. "He's going to meet with coach London (UVA) and his staff Thursday. But a major factor is I don't think Virginia will bring him in second semester. They don't like to do that. He's looking to see who will bring him in second semester."
Moses made his official visit to USC last weekend. Clemson was among the many schools to try to get some time with Moses Tuesday during an open recruiting day at Fork Union. "They are trying to get a home visit Wednesday night," Shuman said.
Moses checks out of Fork Union for good on Thursday and will return to his home in Richmond. He will take the ACT Saturday. After the test, it's likely he'll take an official visit with Clemson, LSU and Florida possibilities.
USC did not attend today's session because the Gamecocks just had him in for the visit and plan to see him at a later date. Moses is scheduled to visit North Carolina December 18th but that could change to another school according to Shuman.
