DL Gerald Dixon (6-2 270) of Northwestern says he'll be at USC's junior day Saturday, and his brother, DE Gerald Dixon of South Pointe, also is planning to attend. The boys are the sons of former USC star linebacker Gerald Dixon, who is an assistant coach at Rock Hill High.
Northwestern's Dixon is the oldest of the brothers by about six months. He's been offered by the Gamecocks and says they lead. "They've been coming out me hard," he said. "They are ahead of everybody." Dixon said he and his brother want to go to the same school and indicated that likely will be USC when all is said and done.
He's also getting interest from Duke, North Carolina and NC State.
Dixon is a good run stopper with excellent strength. He benches 315 pounds and squats 460 pounds. Last season he had 90 tackles and three sacks.
