USC is the first school to step up with an offer for OL Nathan Theus (6-3 248) of Jacksonville, FL according to his coach Corky Rogers.
Theus plays center and is being recruited primarily as a long snapper according to Rogers. "He's good at what he does," the coach said.
Theus this spring visited USC, Florida, Florida State, Georgia and Alabama. He plans to camp this summer at Georgia and Florida.
USC also has offered Theus's brother John, a sophomore offensive lineman who is expected to be a major prospect. The brothers have discussed playing at the same school.
