RB Dominique Cooper (6-1 200) of Darlington had offers from USC and SC State and now has his third offer from East Carolina. "They told me if I wanted to come there, I had a scholarship," said Cooper.
Cooper has also heard from Clemson and Alabama of late. He was excited about the contact from the Tide. "They told me they liked me at running back," he said. "They're supposed to come see me at practice."
His team is still in the middle of spring practices and he says coaches are stopping by the school. "I know Coach (Ellis) Johnson (USC) came by and said I looked good at running back," he mentioned.
This summer, he plans to take some visits. "I don't know about camps, but I want to visit Georgia Tech and Alabama...I want to visit them all," he said. "I already know I'm visiting USC and South Carolina State,"
Cooper does not have any favorites but did say he would prefer to play on offense. "If I got two schools telling me the same thing and one wants me to play running back, I'm going to choose that school," he said.
