Oklahoma appears to be close to making an offer to WR Tyrequek Zimmerman (6-1 180) of Lawton, OK according to his coach.
"Oklahoma came down and watched him last week," Randy Breeze said. "They can't decide if he's an offensive or defensive player. He's going to run for them Sunday. He's probably going to get an offer. TCU is going to offer as soon as they can reach him. And Oklahoma State likes him a lot. They want to see him in camp June 13th."
Zimmerman has offers from USC, Oregon State, Baylor, Tulsa, East Carolina, Louisville and Wyoming. USC remains strongly involved with Steve Spurrier Jr. in touch.
Zimmerman has grandparents in Orangeburg and has come to South Carolina each summer to visit them. His coach is not sure of his plans on that right now, but Zimmerman plans to talk to Spurrier Jr. soon to lay out his summer plans.
